New Freeform live show with visuals by Universal Everything

Freeform aka Simon Pyke has a long history of releasing sumptuous albums on many labels (Skam, Worm Interface, Quatermass, Warp, Leaf, Musik Aus Strom, Sub Rosa to name a few). He has now clocked up 9 albums & 6 singles, perhaps his best to date is just out on Skam (where he is the longest running artist) entitled ''Outside In''. Have you heard it? if not check it out - its stunningly good.

Freeform along with his amazing visual artit brother, Matt Pyke (ex Designers Republic) will unveil a new live show on March 3rd at the Sage Gateshead's new AV Festival in Newcastle. Also playing are Carston Nicolai (sp?), Tim Exile + Flat-E, Ultre.

Did you know:
Bill Laswell, Autechre, Atom Heart and Jan Jelinek are some of the names that have remixed Freeform. Flexing his own producing skills Simon has remixed a range of artists including hip hop act East Flatbush Project, percussionist Glen Velez and M. Mayer for techno label Kompact.

An infectious folky electronic album with plenty of bump - one of those albums that makes you happy, even when you are sick of sounds - late night vibes & a few tracks which would turn a club into some sort of sublime heaven dropped at the right moment - check it out!
