Darren Johnston - Array perform 'Outre'

Darren Johnston is one of the the UK's most audacious and talented choreographers, and his dance group Array are sending shockwaves through the scene. Their productions exist on the bleeding edge of the artform, always pushing conceptual boundaries and inventing new forms and techniques, and collaborating with the most influential musicians around.

Their latest production, 'Outre', is a dark and tense trip into a ragged victorianesque world. Dancers move in and out of complete blackness through slowly creeping smoke in a freakshow cabaret of shadows and nightmares, set to commisioned music by Jamie Lidell, Christian Vogul, Max De Wardner and more... its a disturbing yet exhilerating experience.
