Just as the dust cloud from 2008's massive 'Turning Dragon' album has begun to clear, Clark rolls out a steaming juggernaut of a record. Preceded by the stunning Growls Garden EP, The Totems Flare full length is arguably Clark's finest work till date.

the same. Clark has forged his best record EVER. This is a massive bin
busting distorted stomper which sounds like Tricky teaming up his
darkest thrash with Modeselektor’s alchemy of sub bass. And that’s just
the first track! Mangled yet razor sharp production and a huge slab of
disregard for convention, song structure or even volume make this
essentially refreshing. This is the sound of Clark having fun. And it’s
the best dance music we’ve heard in 2009. Simple.
