A native of Co. Kildare, MMoths (aka Jack Colleran) has had blogs the
world over buzzing with excitement about his fresh and new approach to
the field of production, resulting in tracks of overwhelming depth,
fragility and beauty.
Organically created electronica has been bandied around by
fore-figures such as Four Tet and Gold Panda but with tunes like '<3'
and 'Slow/Down' MMoths takes the energetic pace of his influences and
slows them down to an almost dead stop, creating a drift-like effect
in his stop-start tunes which lull the listener in and leave them
captivated.
