Balam Acab is 20-year-old Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania native Alec Coone. First rising to notoriety during the "witch haus" craze of 2010 with his See Birds EP, his first full-length Wander / Wonder, released April 29, 2011 on tastemaker label Tri Angle, sets him above the rest. While the melancholic ghost echoes remain, the darkness has lifted and sunlight seeps through the branches on his lush, organic production.
He will play his first live shows in UK/EU in Feb (there are still some dates open) and is then available for festivals throughout the year.
