Introducing > Micachu & The Shapes

Michachu car_450.jpg

Coming straight out of the East End and through the Littlebig doors is the freshest act we've heard for time. Micachu (Mica Levi) with backing from The Shapes (Marc Pell - Drums, Raisa Khan - Keys & Electronics) are a treat to behold.

The super hot 'Golden Phone' single is out now (listen on myspace now) and there's super hype growing around forthcoming album for Feb 09 on Mathew Herbert's Accidental Label (Distro = PIAS)

Their rawkus pop sound is utterly infectious and is pricking ears around the world. Absorbing electro-pop, wonky rhythms and edgey Brit Rock within stunning production is garnering them critical acclaim across the board.
This new band of 21 year olds are about to cause major impact..

Check their myspace for full tour dates.

----

Fuck Buttons exploded onto the scene in early 2008 after being signed to ATP Recordings (the people behind legendary international All Tomorrow's Parties festivals and Dont Look Back events). The release of debut STREET HORRRSING album whilst touring non stop has earned Fuck Buttons cult status as one of the most exciting new experimental acts around. Young and refreshing, Fuck Buttons "straddle the wall of sound that lies between the beginning of destruction and the end of birth".
