Upcoming release 'Yesterday and Today' out on KOMPAKT in May

With his stunning debut album 'From Here We Go Sublime' for Koln's well-known Kompakt label in spring 2007, The Field were injected into the dance music scene like a beautiful new drug. Axels' formula was simple and refreshing and scored him remixes from Thom Yorke and Battles. Propelled by subby minimal percussion, the super-lush deep loopy melodies flown over the listener, making hairs stand on end and inducing trance like states - whether home alone or part of a pulsing late night crowd.

Now performing a new life show as a three piece band with visuals and armed with an LP's worth of new tracks, The Field are ready to tour.
