Leisure System.02 @ Berghain, Berlin
December 12, 2008

Leisure System is a new adventure in dancefloor dynamics, taking the most influential, uncompromising and talented artists in the club scene today and placing them in the ultimate venue - Berlin's infamous Berghain. The shared desire is to push the limits further than others.
For our second in the series, we've put together a killer selection of legends and future pioneers in the realm of underground electronic and experimental music, bringing the most extreme pleasure imaginable to body and mind.
Topping the bill are Warp Records Plaid, who for 20 years have been pioneering the freshest sounds in UK techno/electronica. For this event, the Warp/Black Dog legends will be displaying their abundant skills as DJ's. Rephlex and Breakin' Records bass junky DMX Krew brings his unique brand of electro/booty/gettotec to get your ass moving faster than ever, while Kid606 showcases his latest release on his highly respected Tigerbeat6 label with a heavy, genre-defiant live set.
Gescom collaborator, long serving Autechre tour DJ, head of the influential Skam label and Leisure System resident DJ Rob Hall displays his master craftsmanship in selection and delivery of sounds on the cutting edge, along with Overkill/Littlebig main man and long serving resident DJ for Warp's legendary NESH parties, N>E>D.
If that weren't enough already, two further live sets will punctuate the evening. Masters of the music machine, the British duo Voltek+Reteric bring rich harmonies and abrasive rhythms served warm by 150kgs of analogue hardware, and finally, a special live set from Berlin's Daniel Matz in his electronica monika Tex'n'Terok.
